What we collect
- Birth details — date, time, city and sex as recorded at birth. These are the inputs the chart is calculated from. Without an exact time and city the chart is not yours, which is why all four are required.
- An optional name — only used to address you in the reading. It plays no part in the calculation and is never interpreted.
- Your questions — if you ask the AI astrologer anything, the question is stored with that reading so the conversation has continuity.
- A wallet address — only if you choose to connect a crypto wallet to subscribe. We store the public address. We never see or hold your keys, and we cannot move your funds.
What we do not collect
- No email address, name-on-file, phone number or password — there is no account to create.
- No cookies. Our analytics are cookieless and we set none of our own.
- No advertising trackers, no third-party ad networks, no data brokers. We do not sell or rent anything to anyone.
- No precise location. The birth city you type is used for a longitude, not to locate you.
Where your data goes
Two places outside our own server, and it is worth being specific about both.
- An AI model provider. Writing your reading and answering your questions means sending the relevant facts from your chart — and the question you asked — to a large language model provider. Your birth details themselves are not sent as identifying information, but the chart derived from them is.
- Our own analytics. We run a self-hosted, cookieless analytics install to count page views and which buttons get used. It records no personal data and does not follow you across other websites.
If you connect a wallet, the payment itself happens on a public blockchain, which is public by design and outside anyone's control including ours.
What is stored in your browser
We use your browser's local storage — not cookies — to remember the birth details you last entered (so you are not asked twice), any unused discount code, and your session token if you have connected a wallet. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
How long we keep things
A reading and its conversation are kept so that its link keeps working — that private link is the only way back to a reading, since there is no account to log into. Locally stored birth details expire on their own after a short period.
Children
Kavira is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Readings are for entertainment and self-reflection. Kavira does not give medical, legal or financial advice, does not predict events, and nothing it says should be treated as a statement of fact about your future.
Contact and changes
If you want a reading deleted, send us the reading's link — that is the only handle that identifies it, and we cannot find it without one. If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
